Villa Mondragone is the largest and one of the most beautiful villas of Tusculanum. The monumental complex has been acquired in 1981 by the University of Rome Tor Vergata. Villa Mondragone over the course of its long history hosted imporant events. It was the residence of Popes and famous families of the ancient nobility.
The restructured section of the monumental complex is currently the seat for important national and international conferences and other important cultural events. According to the institutional policy that offers to the territory a series of dates for cultural diffusion, Villa Mondragone, opens to the pubblic its large rooms and its wonderful gardens, organizing in these periods guided tours especially for schools.
