Gabriele De Angelis obtained the Laurea degree (cum laude) in Electronics Engineering, at University of Rome "Tor Vergata", on May 2009.
Since July 2008 to May 2009, he worked at the research center C.H.O.S.E. (Center for Hybrid and Organic Solar Energy - Polo per il Fotovoltaico Organico del Lazio, Tecnopolo Tiburtino, Rome, Italy), preparing a bachelor's degree thesis on “Development of low temperature processes and materials for DSC solar cells”. He had as supervisor Prof. T. M. Brown.
At the research center C.H.O.S.E., he obtained a fellowship by Regione Lazio to work on the subject: “Development of deposition techniques for DSC solar cells on flexible substrates”, since September 2009 to October 2009. He had as supervisor Prof. T. M. Brown.
Since November 2009, he is a Ph. D. student (fellowship holder) in Telecommunications and Microelectronics Engineering at C.H.O.S.E., in OLAB (Opto&Nano Electronics) group, of the Electronics Engineering Department, at University of Rome "Tor Vergata". He is working for the DyePower consortium, on key aspects of DSC solar cells, like treatments of photoanodes for performance improvements, and sealing technologies for increased lifetimes. His supervisors are Prof. A. Reale, Prof. T. M. Brown and Prof. A. Di Carlo.
