The Contamination Lab of the Opto and Nanoelectronic Laboratory (OLAB) and the Center for Hybrid and Organic Solar Energy (CHOSE) of the University of Rome Tor Vergata is an open place for share knowledge between people from different disciplines. The Contamination Lab promotes a discussion of entrepreneurship, innovation, interdisciplinarity and new models of learning, exposing people to a stimulated environment for the future development of high-tech innovation projects.
The opportunity to growth high-tech solutions with two research and development centers of Tor Vergata University and its multicultural members is of great value for novel entrepreneurs interested in Solar Energy, Energy Management and Energy Harvesting; Opto and Nanoelectronic devices as well as Parallel and Distributed Computing Solutions. On the other hand, these R&D’s take advantage of an excellent chance to consolidate its technological offer not only for big players in innovation but also to provide high-tech solutions for local startuppers.
We held the first Contamination Lab at OLAB and CHOSE facilities with people from the Marketing for Universities Association (M4U) on Tuesday 6th. The aim to seeds awareness and skills needed for high-tech innovative business ideas on afore mentioned platform.
We visit the laboratory of high-power measurements, the batteries characterization lab and the laboratory for nanostructured materials growth at OLAB. We discus about interesting topics such as graphene technology, flexible and rigid last generation solar cells (DSSC, Polymeric, Perovskite, etc) as well as energy management, right in the place where the state-of-the-art is emerging.
