Valeria Guglielmotti was born on January 29th 1981 in Battipaglia (SA).
She obtained the laurea degree in Chemistry cum laude at the University of “Tor Vergata” in Rome with a thesis on “Study of the correlations between synthetic parameters and crystal structure in thin film of Niobium and Niobium Nitride by means of XRF and XRD” and since March 2010 she is a Ph.D in Chemistry at the Faculty of Chemical Science and Technology of the same university.
She is working on synthesis of carbon – based nanostructured materials (carbon nanotubes, TiO2 covered nanotubes…) by means of Hot Filament Chemical Vapor Deposition (HFCVD), techniques of characterization as X – RayDiffraction (XRD), X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF), UV-Vis spectroscopy, Field Emission measurements (FE) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and electro-analytical studies of new kind electrolytes (called Ionic Liquids) for Dye Sensitized Solar Cells (DSSC).
