AGENDA
STUDENT PRESENTATION
Each student will give a 5 minutes (max) presentation concerning activities, educational background or any interesting information about himself or his research group. In case of students coming from the same group, a presentation of 10 minutes can be done for the whole group, as preferred.
Moreover a 200 words (max) abstract is required for each student and a passport photo in order to create a guest-book to help interaction and info exchange.
Both formal and classic or creative and original presentation style will be appreciated.
Communication is the goal!

Since 2008 he is researcher with the Dept. of Electronics engineering of University of Rome "Tor Vergata".
FILIPPO DE ANGELIS
Filippo De Angelis is senior research scientist and deputy director at the CNR Institute of Molecular Sciences and Technology in Perugia, Italy.
JULIAN BURSCHKA
Julian Burschka is project leader in R&D of Merck group. Followed by Prof. Michael Graetzel of EPFL institute, he received the PhD degree with a thesis on "High performance solid-state mesoscopic solar cells".
MARISKA DE WILD-SCHOLTEN
Mariska de Wild-Scholten: Director of SmartGreenScans. She has a Master of Science degree in Geochemistry from Utrecht University.
BJÖRN NIESEN
Björn Niesen is a researcher of the Photovoltaics-Laboratory (PV-Lab) of Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL).

Mónica Lira-Cantú is Group Leader of the Nanostructured Materials for Photovoltaic Energy Group of the Catalan Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, ICN2.

Lucio Cinà is a post-doc researcher of the Center of Hybrid and Organic Solar Energy (CHOSE) of the University of Rome "Tor Vergata".
GERRIT BOSCHLOO
Gerrit Boschloo leads the hybrid solar cell research at Uppsala University at the department of Chemistry.
ALEXANDER COLSMANN
Alexander Colsmann studied physics at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich, where he received his diploma in 2003.
FRANCESCO BONACCORSO
Francesco Bonaccorso gained a PhD from the Department of Physics, University of Messina in Italy after working at the Italian National Research Council, the Engineering Department of Cambridge University (UK) and the Department of Physics and Astronomy of Vanderbilt University (USA).
Aldo Di Carlo
Aldo Di Carlo is full professor of Optoelectronics and Nanoelectronics at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata" (Italy). Since 2006 he is co-director of the Centre for Hybrid and Organic Solar Energy (CHOSE) which involves more than 30 researchers for the development and industrialization of the organic and hybrid organic/inorganic photovoltaic technologies. Di Carlo is author/coauthor of more than 300 scientific publications on international journals, 13 patents and several book chapters.

Francesca Brunetti
Researcher in the Department of Electronic Engineering, University of Rome "Tor Vergata", Rome. Her research activity is focused on the analysis, design and manufacture of electronic and optoelectronic devices through the use of nanomaterials and organic semiconductors. She is involved in the study of carbon nanotube and graphene for electronic applications (vacuum triodes, semi-transparent electrodes and solar cells), organic thin-film transistors, organic bulk heterojunction and perovskite solar cells.

Thomas M. Brown
Thomas M. Brown completed a PhD on polymer OLEDs at the Cavendish Laboratory, University of Cambridge. From 2001-2005 he developed OTFTs and E-paper as Senior Engineer with Plastic Logic Ltd. In 2005 he was recipient of a "Re-entry" Fellowship awarded by the Ministry of University and Research and is Associate Professor at the University of Rome-Tor Vergata. Cofounder of the Centre for Hybrid and Organic Solar Energy, his current research is in solution-processed solar cells especially on flexible substrates. He is associate editor of Solar Energy.
